Anything But Real Time, Premiere LSO Soundhub

[ April 17, 2015; 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. ] The world premiere of my new piece for 10 LSO Musicians, Anything But Real Time, will be at LSO St. Luke’s on 17th April, at 7pm.  This piece was commissioned as part of the LSO Soundhub Scheme.

I will be conducting the premiere, which will be accompanied by a video I created using only the iPhone’s slo-motion mode. […]

Atea Quintet, Brighton Festival

[ May 21, 2015; 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. ] I’m thrilled that the absolutely fantastic Atea Wind Quintet will be giving their second performance of my piece How to Avoid Huge Ships at the Brighton Festival in May.  The piece was commissioned for Atea by New Dots, and premiered by them back in May.

Tanglewood

[ June 19, 2015 7:00 am to August 17, 2015 12:00 pm. ] I’m really honoured to have recently received a fellowship for the 2015 Composition Programme at the Tanglewood Music Center.  The Geometry of Clouds will receive a performance at Tanglewood, as will two new works that I will write while in residence there.
