This piece is dedicated to the memory of my cousin James Shiel, and his son Andy. It was commissioned by Third Coast Percussion, and was premiered by them at Constellation (Chicago, USA) in June 2016.

The performers are: Eloisa-Fluer Thom (Violin), Ed McCullagh (Violin), Jakub Cywinski (Double Bass) and Tom Lee (Percussion).
for Piano Quartet
This piece was written for the 2014 Aspen Music Festival, at which I was the Polonsky Fellow in Composition, and was revised the next year for the Tanglewood Music Centre where I held the Elliott Carter Memorial Fellowship.
